Team building & other professional Services

From team building for area businesses to professional development for youth-serving organizations, we’ve got our finger on the pulse of community needs and how to connect the dots to meet them successfully. Our track record as community organizers gives us decades of experience to draw on, and our experiential, adventure-based approach allows us to take what we’ve mastered and shared it with others to build stronger teams, leaders, and organizations.

Team Building

Establishing a cohesive workgroup is key to growing productivity and profitability. It’s the link to building a culture of trust, support, and respect. Our team building services are customized to meet the unique needs of companies and organizations through assessments, ice-breakers, trust-building, and problem-solving exercises.

Our group process engages participants through various negotiation, communication, and idea-sharing activities, to foster stronger team and individual performances. Objectives include:

  • Stimulate creative thinking to encourage problem-solving

  • Enhance morale and personal responsibility

  • Foster trust, communication, flexibility, and feedback

  • Reinforce practical leadership skills

  • Enhance personal effectiveness as team players

  • Illuminate shared vision, goals, and priorities

We offer half- and full-day experiences to groups of 10-100. Minimum of 3-hours is recommended. Come to us or we will come to you!

Custom SEL Programs

Social & Emotional Learning (SEL)

Youth and adults alike can benefit from experiences that strengthen social and emotional awareness and competency. We offer 4-day and 14-session packages of our evidence-based SEL program. If you have a group of adolescents whom you work with regularly, you may be interested in gifting them with a Cypress experience.

“The residents have been getting so much from this experience.  I listened to a youth describe some of the things he has been learning while [at Cypress].  He was explaining to his caseworker how beneficial the time there has been and it really had him thinking about how he should handle things in the future and how he can be the best version of himself.  Thank you for all that you do.”
